At Furniture48 you can rest assured that you’ll be enjoying your new furniture in next to no time. With every single item on our site in stock and ready to ship, our trusted delivery partners will deliver your order within 48 hours, subject to geographical constraints. Here’s everything you need to know.
- Our standard delivery fee is £19.99 if your order is under £200, or £39.99 for orders over this amount. If you live somewhere a little more exciting such as highlands or islands, you’ll incur an additional surcharge, which will be added at checkout for you to see. Postcodes subject to an additional fee start with AB, DD, FK, IV, KW, KY, PA and PH.
- If you’re in the Republic of Ireland or Northern Ireland, we can deliver most of our items for a surcharge of £59 in addition to the base delivery fee, which is £19.99 on orders under £200 and £39.99 on orders over this.
- Some items can be delivered to the Isle of Wight for a surcharge of £34 in addition to the base delivery fee. Please contact us to check if your order is eligible for delivery. For items that are not eligible, we will deliver to a nominated GB address e.g. a port. Please note that onward shipping from that point is the responsibility of the customer.
- For delivery to Isle of Man, Scottish Islands and Channel Islands we will deliver to a nominated mainland GB address (for example, to a port). Please note that onward shipping from the nominated mainland GB address is the responsibility of the customer.
- When we say fast, we mean FAST. For most mainland UK orders, we deliver within 48 hours. You'll be able to choose a convenient delivery date in your basket when you checkout. You may often be able to receive your item the very next day if you order before 11am.
- If you want something to arrive later, you can always just choose a later date in checkout.
- We normally deliver Monday to Friday between 7am and 9pm. Our couriers will text you the night before to give you a 3 hour delivery window, so you won't have to wait in all day.
- You should also receive a pre-call 30 – 60 minutes in advance of the delivery, but this is not guaranteed. Please be aware if a delivery is missed or fails, there may be a re-delivery fee to be paid.
- If you'd like delivery on a Saturday, we may be able to offer this for an additional fee, dependent on your postcode. Please call us on 0333 222 7195

- If you need your order delivered at a specific time, we may be able to offer this but it is dependent on postcode and will be subject to an additional fee. Give us a call on 0333 222 7195 to chat through your requirements.
- We provide a professional two-man, white glove delivery service, which means we will carry your furniture to your room of choice up to the second floor.
- You'll need to make sure your new furniture has a clear pathway from the front door. Please help us by removing anything that may be in the way (such as pictures on walls or any trip hazards).
- It's worth measuring your space in advance to ensure we can get through any tight, tricky corners or up stairs. Failed deliveries may be subject to a charge of £54.
- We're unable to unpack your items or take away any packaging at this time.
- We deliver from Monday to Friday, 7am to 9pm. We're also able to deliver on Saturdays to some postcodes, but please call us in advance to discuss whether this is possible for your address.
- If you live somewhere a little more exciting or remote, such as on an island or in the Scottish highlands, it may take us a little longer to reach you.
- If you can't choose a delivery date at checkout, that normally means you live in a surcharge area or you've chosen an item that needs a little bit more care to deliver.
- If that's the case, our delivery partners will contact you within 3 working days to organise a convenient timeslot for your delivery.
- Delivery booking contacts are made via email, text message and/or Whatsapp.
- You'll also receive a text message the night before your delivery is due confirming a 3 hour delivery timeslot, so you won't have to wait in all day.
- Our delivery teams will normally try to call you 30 - 60 minutes before they are due to arrive - though please note that this is not guaranteed.
- We'll need someone over the age of 18 present to sign for the delivery
- If there is nobody home who can sign for your new furniture, we may have to charge for a failed delivery (£54)
